A Most Magnificent YOU

What if you were the very best you can be?

Imagine... YOU at your highest and best potential. The perfect and Divine YOU with all those qualities you've admired in others but never thought you'd have.

Well, that possibility is closer than you think. All you have to do is use one simple Universal Law on yourself.

The Law of Attraction.

You probably know of this law which states, "That which is like unto itself is drawn." In other words, like attracts like.

It's what the works of people such as the Hickses, Mike Dooley, Lynn Grabhorn, Joe Vitale, Jack Canfield, and many more are based upon. Most commonly the Law of Attraction is interpreted to mean that whatever you think of, you manifest. Typically people use this Law to manifest what they want in their lives - new job, more money, new home, better relationships, etc.

But what if you could use the power of this Law to become the great person you have the potential to be?

All too often people focus on the things they don't like about themselves and the errors they've made. Well, in accordance with the Law of Attraction, guess what is then being manifested or enhanced? Right! The lower aspects of themselves... all those things they don't like about themselves.

You can use the Law of Attraction to become your most magnificent. And it's easy.

Instead of focusing outwardly on manifesting material things, focus inward on the qualities you've always wanted to have. First, of course, you have to figure out what those qualities are. That, too, is easy. Most people know what qualities they feel they're lacking and would like more of. However, if you're having difficulty coming up with them, just finish these sentences:

  • The people I most admire are ______________
  • The qualities I most admire in these people are__________

Another method for determining the qualities that would bring you to your highest potential is to list the qualities you dislike most about yourself. Reverse them and you've got the qualities you'd most like to have.

Now, use the Law of Attraction to quickly build up those qualities within yourself. Take note of each time you exhibit one of your desired qualities. For example, if you wish to increase the quality of honesty within yourself, each time you speak the truth congratulate yourself. If a cashier returns too much change to you and you give the extra money back, acknowledge that act of honesty to yourself. If someone gives you credit for the good work of another, and you correctly give the credit to the person who deserves it, acknowledge this act of honesty to yourself.

As you grow your highest and best qualities, you become the true Divine Being you were meant to be.

Love,
Kathy

It's a simple yet powerful tool for acquiring quick, accurate answers to basic questions.

Book o' the Month

Books have always been an important part of my life. Because I love books so much, I want to share with you those that especially excite me. This month's selection is...

Explosive Eighteen
by Janet Evanovich

I don't know about you, but I'm soooo ready for some really big hoo hahs. I've had enough of the doom and gloom of winter, our depressed economy, war, our political situation, blah, blah, on and on.

When I want a break from a depressing world, I grab a Janet Evanovich book. Not only are they a hoot, but the characters in them make my life look like a peaceful haven. I get instant relief the minute I open one of Evanovich's books and start reading. Within minutes I'm lost in a wacky world where people are on the fringes of total bizarrity.

  • Stephanie Plum, the heroine, is a bounty hunter in Trenton, New Jersey. You'll never see anything like her on reality TV. She has a knack for getting herself into the weirdest situations and it's only by sheer dumb luck that she ever aprehends her FTAs (Failed to Appear in court). Of course, some of them are a bit bizarre. Such as the 72 year old man who believed he was a vampire and had the dentures with fangs to prove it. Or the wily guy who got naked and rubbed Crisco all over his body in order to make himself so slippery Stephanie couldn't grab him.
  • Lula is Stephanie's best friend and bounty-hunting partner. She was hired to do filing in the bonding company office after she retired from being a 'ho, but likes adventuring with Stephanie better. She somehow manages to fit her plus size into petite clothes of questionable taste and design.
  • Vinnie is Stephanie's cousin and boss. He owns the bonding company - well, he and his father-in-law Harry the Hammer. He wears pointy shoes that match his pointy face.
  • Grandma Mazur who lives with Stephanie's parents and whose favorite pastime is going to viewings at funeral parlors. She always carries a big purse - one that her .45, which she got at a garage sale, fits into.
  • Stephanie's two loves - Joe Morelli, a Jersey cop with a dangerously sexy bod, and Ranger, bounty hunter extraordinaire who also owns his own security company. He operates just a hair above illegal and is so drop dead sexy he makes women break into a sweat when they just look at him.

Brighten up your world with a Stephanie Plum book by Janet Evanovich. You'll be laughing out loud at some of the antics Stephanie and her co-horts get into. And you'll be happier still that your life looks nothing like their wacked-out lives!

You might want to start with her first book, One for the Money. It's been made into a movie and is coming to a theatah near you the end of January.

Essential Oil of the Month

Lemon Myrtle
(Backhousia citriodora - member of the Myrtaceae family)

Lemon myrtle essential oil, when taken internally, boosts the body's natural defenses. An extremely potent antibacterial and germicide, Lemon Myrtle is a much more effective germ killer than the more familiar Tea Tree. Anecdotal evidence shows a much lower than expected number of coughs, colds and sinus problems in households that regularly diffuse the oil. It can also be used as a cleansing agent to purify household surfaces.

Aromatically, lemon myrtle has a powerful lemon scent, even stronger than lemon essential oil. The fresh aroma is uplifting and refreshing, which may help clear the mind to enhance concentration or promote a peaceful night's sleep.

It makes a lovely winter oil, with its combination of a cheerful lemon scent and its proven germicidal activity.

Suggestions of how to use it:

  • Add 2 - 4 drops to hot bathwater, lie back, and enjoy!
  • Deeply inhale the aroma directly from the bottle
  • Diffuse (I use a misting fountain and the whole house smells fresh!)
  • Apply 1-2 drops to the heart chakra, on wrists, neck, temples, and forehead (third eye chakra).
  • Add to massage oil for an incredible experience
  • Put 4-8 drops on a cotton ball and locate it over a heating vent
  • Share a few drops with your loved ones

To obtain the fullest aromatic benefits of this oil, after applying it rub the palms of your hands together briskly to warm the oil on them. Then cup them and place them over your nose. Take three deep breaths This brings the minute oil particles deep into your nasal passages, where their energy imprint is picked up by the Olfactory nerve and taken to the Amygdala gland - the control center of all your emotions and the release of all hormones.

Young Living essential oils are steam distilled from the leaves and stems of 100% organic plants. Unlike other brands of essential oils, there are no chemicals used in the processing of the plants. Nor are there chemicals or other ingredients added to dilute or damage the natural healing properties of the oils.
