How
You Do Anything
Is How You Do Everything
I
first was introduced to the concept of how anything we do is reflected
in everything else we do during a Millionaire Mind seminar in Canada.
At first I thought, "Hogwash!"
But
when I began looking for evidence within my life to prove it was
hogwash, I found evidence to the contrary. I discovered that the
way I did many things in one area of my life was exactly the same
way I did them in almost every other area.
An
example is my experience when I first was learning Tai Chi. I kept
losing my balance when doing the form. Finally I realized this issue
was reflecting that I was losing balance in other areas of my life,
such as my work and relationships... and for the same reason. I
was always leaning forward, anticpating the next movement. As I
began to stay centered and grounded in my Tai Chi form, I began
to also stay centered and grounded in the other areas of my life.
Life - and Tai Chi - became easier.
Think
of the biggest, most major issue you have going on in your life
right now. To a lesser degree, that issue is also being reflected
in all other areas of your life.
If
you have problems with people taking advantage of your good nature
at work, it's a given that you allow friends, family, and even people
you don't know such as sales clerks, to do the same.
If
you have waaaay too many things going on in one area of your life
and are feeling overwhelmed, it'll be reflected in other areas.
Too many demands at work most likely indicate that your social and
home life leave you no time to breathe and relax.
Start
setting - and upholding - your boundaries in one area and watch
as the positive affects flow into all areas of your life. Make it
easy on yourself and begin with a small area.
Love,
Kathy

Book
o' the Month
Books
have always been an important part of my life. One of my most favorite
jobs was working at a bookstore. I'd gaze around the store in amazement
at all of the wondrous knowledge that was available to me in all
the thousands of books that were gathered together in this one place.
It was like having all of the wisest people in all the world
in all of history right in front of me, ready to share the
best and juiciest parts of their wisdom with me. Picking up a book
and reading it was like walking up to them and saying, "tell
me the best of all that you know". And so they did... each
time I would open their books and read their words.
Because
I love books soooooo much, I want to share with you those that especially
excite me. This month's selection is...

Zibu:
The Power of Angelic Symbology by
Debbie Z.
I
met Debbie at a metaphysical bookstore where she was signing copies
of her just-published book during their psychic fair. We
chatted for a while and she shared her path of how she went from
being an executive secretary to channeling angelic symbols.
She
said that when she was beginning her secretarial career, she took
some shorthand classes. She discovered a natural talent for that
style of writing and was so good at it that she soon was assisting
the teacher in class. Of course, her ability served her well as
she advanced in her career.
Years
later, she became interested in calligraphy and began practicing
it as a hobby. Like shorthand, it seemed to come naturally to her
and she loved it.
One
day as she was writing her daily journal, an angelic being came
to her and gave her the first of many symbols along with the interpretation.
The angel explained that Zibu is an ancient healing language expressed
as symbols.
I
found it fascinating how, on her path through life, she was being
trained first through shorthand and then calligraphy in preparation
for her most important work of drawing the Zibu Angel Symbols.
These
beautiful symbols can be used in many ways:
-
drawn over doorways for angelic protection
- in
the garden to enhance the health of your plants
- as
wall art to radiate the wonderful energy throughout a room
- on
the body as henna or permanent tatoos
- worn
as the beautiful pieces of jewelry that Debbie creates
I
have Gratitude (the symbol on the book cover) on the office of my
wall, to radiate that energy and remind me of all that I have to
be grateful for. Often, I draw it over my heart so that the energy
of gratitude is enhanced within me and is with me wherever I go.
On
my checkbook cover I have the symbols for Prosperity and Unlimited
Abundance. I'm always surprised that I have an abundance of funds
in my checking account.
Often
when I share the healing energy of Reiki with clients, I'll use
a Zibu symbol to inhance a specific energy, such as Inner Peace,
Nurture, Release, and Vitality.
Get
the whole collection of 88 symbols in Debbie's book Zibu:
The Power of Angelic Symbology and discover how you'll be
inspired to use them to benefit you in your daily life. As the Angel
Zephyrine shared with Debbie:
"Zibu
symbols open up energetic portals
for Heavenly transformation."
Essential
Oil of the Month
|
R.C.

|
This
blend of essential oils was created to give relief from:
-
colds
-
bronchitis
- sore
throats
-
sinusitis
-
coughs
- respiratory
congestion
In
fact, the name R.C. is an abbreviation for Respiratory Congestion.
|
These
oils were blended for the purpose of decongesting sinus passages,
combating lung infections, and relieving allergy symptoms.
It's
a must to have R.C. in your cabinet in case you or your family members
succumb to colds or flu this winter.
I
use it whenever my sinuses act up due to smoke and other pollutants
in the air, and on the rare occasion that I get a cold. Within minutes
I feel relief from the pain and stuffiness.
Suggestions
of how to use it:
- Apply
on the chest, neck, throat, and over sinus areas (cheeks and over
eyebrows).
- Add
2 - 4 drops to hot bathwater
- Directly
inhale
- Diffuse
(I use a misting fountain and the whole house smells fresh!)
- Use
as a hot compress
- Include
in the oils for Raindrop Therapy
- Apply
to Reflexology points for lungs and sinuses
- Put
a drop or two on your pillowcase to relieve nighttime stuffiness
Oils
included in this blend:
- Eucalyptus
Globulus
is antimicrobial, an expectorant, mucolytic, and antiviral
- Eucalyptus
Radiata
is antibacterial, antiviral, and expectorant, and anti-inflammatory.
- Eucalyptus
Citriodora
is a decongestant and disinfects the sinuses and lungs
- Myrtle
is a sinus decongestant and alleviates throat infections. It's
used to help treat chronic coughs and tuberculosis.
- Pine
opens and disinfects the respiratory system, particularly the
bronchial tract.
- Spruce
is anti-infectioius, anti-inflammatory, and antiseptic
- Marjoram
is anti-infectious, antibacterial, antiseptic, and reduces spasms
- Lavender
is antispasmodic, anti-inflammatory, and antiseptic
- Cypress
promotes blood circulation and lymph flow. It's anitbacterial,
mucoloytic, and antimicrobial.
- Peppermint
is a powerful lung and nasal decongestant with antiseptic properties.
It kills airborne bacteria, fungi, and viruses.
To
obtain the fullest aromatic benefits of this oil, after
applying it rub the palms of your hands together briskly to warm
the oil on them. Then cup them and place them over your nose. Take
three deep breaths This brings the minute oil particles deep into
your nasal passages, where their energy imprint is picked up by
the Olfactory nerve and taken to the Amygdala gland - the control
center of all your emotions and the release of all hormones.
Young
Living essential oils are steam distilled from the leaves and stems
of 100% organic plants. Unlike other brands of essential oils, there
are no chemicals used in the processing of the plants. Nor are there
chemicals or other ingredients added to dilute or damage the natural
healing properties of the oils.
