The Art and Science of Thank You We all know that good manners dictate a response of some form of gratitude when we receive a gift. Beyond being considered well-mannered there isn't much benefit to always voicing your gratitude for receipt of a gift. Or is there? Consider for a moment the dynamics that occur between two people during a simple exchange of a gift. For this example, imagine yourself as the receiver. As you receive the gift, how do you receive it? Are you openly grateful? Or do you resist receiving it by putting your hands in front of you as if to ward off the gift, saying something like, "Oh no, I couldn't accept this"? How you receive anything is how you receive everything. If you resist or block the receipt of a gift, you're squelching the flow of your abundance. Imagine that there's a pipeline through which all things come to you. When you resist that which is flowing to you, in effect you're decreasing the volume of flow. Each time you demur when someone tries to give you something - a gift, a compliment, a blessing - you scrunch down the size of your abundance pipeline. If you're following any of the programs for manifesting or magnetizing abundance and yet you're still not seeing any improvements in your flow of abundance and prosperity, examine the tail end of the process - the part where you're given what you asked for. Are you open and willing to receive? Or do you back away, in an effort to display what you believe to be politeness? Imagine for a moment that you're the one doing the giving.
So it is with your Spiritual helpers - the ones who are co-creating the flow of abundance through the pipeline with you. The most important part of manifesting and magnitizing abundance to you is an honest and heartfelt "Thank you", freely given to the giver. This simple act creates a dynamic of loving energy which increases the flow of abundance to you plus it guarantees the willing assistance of your spirit guides and angels in the future. To increase your flow down the pipeline of abundance, practise this simple exercise every night before you go to sleep:
Notice in the ensuing days how things that you wish for seem to be coming to you more quickly and easily.
