Hunkering Down

So there I was, meandering through my normal day (as if my days are ever normal) when the words, "hunker down" popped into my mind. Several times that day my inner voice spoke that phrase. Each time it illicited an image of a cowboy squatting in front of a campfire, getting warm while his dinner cooks over the flames. And each time I experienced a feeling of settling in, getting cozy, and staying put for the time being.

When I mentioned this phrase to friends they responded the same almost to the word: "Hunker down. Hmmmm. Yeah. I like that."

Hunkering down. What does it mean? If you're not a cowboy out on the range, how do you hunker down?

Here's some examples of how I'm hunkering down this winter:

  • We took our house off the market. It's a relief to delete the stress of selling a house from my life, even if it's only for the winter months.
  • I'm making soups and stews in huge batches and freezing them. Okay, I admit I hate cooking. I've always cooked in big batches so that for several days afterward all I have to do is reheat. But there's something very comforting about having my freezer full of containers with hearty soups and stews.
  • Instead of going somewhere exotic - and expensive - for our annual winter vacation, we're taking mini-trips closer to home. A day trip to a favorite mall to watch the Christmas shoppers and enjoy their happy energy. A weekend at the ocean to watch the winter storms. A visit with a dear friend who lives in a town far enough away that I don't see her nearly often enough.

Some friends shared with me how they're hunkering down this winter:

  • One decided to buy CDs of the music artists she likes and listen to them at home in the evenings, instead of suffering the stress of fighting crowds in order to go to a their live concert for a couple of hours.
  • Another chose to visit friends across the country instead of going to a distant foreign country.
  • Yet another is having friends over for potluck dinners instead of always going to restaurants.

How does hunkering down sound to you right now? If it feels good to you, take a few moments and consider ways you can settle in, get cozy, and stay put for a while.

Love,
Kathy

ps. You can hunker down with the gifts you give this Christmas. Gift certificates for local services, such as Reiki, massage therapy, Raindrop Therapy, and pedicures make great hunkering down gifts.

The Interdimensional
12 Strand DNA Activation

Inner peace.

That's what almost everyone who's had the Interdimensional 12 Strand DNA Activation is experiencing now. Here's what they said:

  • "I felt very peaceful and tranquil, as if nothing could upset me and that I could handle something unpleasant very easily if it turned up." Kathy F.
  • "I am now much at peace. I'm just letting people be who they are without really needing to control them." Mong
  • "I am more able to prevent myself from becoming stressed." Margaret W
  • "I feel braver, less worried about stuff." Lori R
  • "I feel more in control of most parts of my life." JEM
  • "I can very easily and peacefully enjoy the moment... but not feel embodied in it. I felt a sense of peace in matters of the heart." BM

After this activation, your connection to your Divine Self, God, and your spiritual guidance becomes deeper and stronger, and you'll feel more at peace.

The Interdimensional 12 Strand DNA Activation is an incredibly powerful DNA activation, owing in part to the inclusion of the activation of the twelve interdimensional layers that surround the DNA.

Adding to the effectiveness of the activation is the empowerment factor - you are guided by me through the process, so you actually perform the DNA activation on yourself.

With the 12 Strand DNA Activation, you have access to ten times the information available through your DNA. These additional strands encompass the following areas of your life:

  • Connection to God/Spirit
  • Inner vision, receiving messages from spiritual guidance
  • Communication, both physical and spiritual
  • Love, both human and Divine
  • Physical body
  • Life force energy (Chi) and personal will

During the activation, we use color and the tones of the sacred Solfeggio scale to imprint the activation on the DNA in every cell in your body. The Interdimensional 12 Strand DNA Activation takes approximately one hour to complete. The activation can be done in person in The Crystal Room at my home, by phone, or remotely using a surrogate method.

Essential Oil of the Month

Myrrh (Commiphora myrrha)

The use of myrrh goes back at least 4,000 years. It is mentioned in one of the oldest know medical records, Ebers Papyrus, dating from sixteenth century BC. It was listed in Hildegard's Medicine, a compilation of early German medicines by highly-regarded Benedictine herbalist, Hildegard of Bingen (1098-1179).

Myrrh is an anti-microbial oil referenced throughout the Old and New Testaments. It is a powerful antioxidant, anti-inflammatory, antiviral, antiparasitic, and analgesic/anesthetic.

Myrrh has a rich, smoky, balsamic aroma that is purifying, restorative, revitalizing, and uplifting. It is a helpful aid to meditation, having one of the highest levels of sesquiterpenes available. Myrrh is particularly valuable for people who feel "stuck" emotionally or spiritually and want to move forward in their lives.

Lots more history, healing properties, uses, and healing stories of Myrrh HERE.

Suggestions of how to use it:
