An Eight Year This year, 2006, is an eight year in numerology - the art and science of using the vibration of numbers to access higher higher wisdom which gives you another perspective which will hopefully give you insight to whatever your issue is so that you can make better choices for the greater benefit of yourself and others. (Whew. No doubt that sentence was incredibly incorrect and I'll be hearing from my editor the moment she reads it.) To determine the numerology of any year simply add all the numbers together until you have a single digit. Hence, 2 + 0 + 0 + 6 = 8. Traditionally, the number eight is associated with success in all matters material, such as business, and finance. All physical achievements are aligned with the energy of eight. This is not to say that an eight will bring you instant success. Eight represents the success that comes only after the work necessary to attain a desired goal is completed. As anyone who has achieved greatness or has risen to grand success will tell you, they didn't get there by luck. They all trod the bumpy road of overcoming challenges, working through their fears, and keeping their focus on their goal. Luckily for us, last year was a seven year, which represents introspection and discernment. The energy of seven is like climbing a mountain and taking a break on a ledge to see where you've been and where you're going. In a seven year you have the opportunity to reflect on what you've experienced and the knowledge and wisdom you've gained as a result of your experiences. As you look forward to where you're going, you can discern what you wish to take with you from your past experiences (seven energy) that will help to ease your way to the success you desire (eight energy). What knowledge and wisdom did you gain last year during the energy of seven that will assist you in successfully reaching your goals this year in the energy of eight? Make a list of your experiences and what you learned from them. Keep this list handy so you can refer to it whenever you want to access your inner resources to help you attain the success of your eight year. Love,
