What Am I Supposed to be Doing? The following is a channeled message received by me on 3/21/2005. In light of the growing focus on human self-empowerment, the information in this article is becoming more important as time passes. It is time to examine yet one more way that you humans have created to give your power away. Giving your power away seems to have become an addictive habit and one that is difficult for you to break. No sooner do you rid yourself of one method do you find yet another. Once again we are astounded at the grand ability you have for creativity. It has improved greatly over the years and almost rivals that of the Creator, the original Source of Life. Now you are realizing that it is time to honor the contract that you set up before you came onto the planet this time around. So you are wanting to know what it is, because in the process of being birthed you lost your memory of your true origins. The veil is in place, correctly hiding from you that which you know to be true at a very deep - almost totally hidden - level. It is almost within reach for you but not quite. The sensation is much like searching for a word that is "right at the tip of your tongue". You almost have it, but not quite. So it is with your important work that you agreed to take on this lifetime, this Earthwalk. You sense that there is something important for you to do, some work that is of great consequence to other people, but you don't know what it is. So far, so good. You've taken your power back to the degree that you acknowledge you have this important work to do. Now we hear you pleading with your angels, your guides, The Universe, and God to tell you what you're "supposed to be doing". This is not for us to determine. YOU are the one who set up your contract and it is for you to acknowledge it. We have given you guidance and you are blind to it. The opportunities that come your way may not look as such to you. They may look like personal disasters, disagreeable tasks, and impossible people. A divorce, losing a job, and getting ill are all parts of the guidance you asked for and which we give to you as gifts of our love for you. The information is veiled, hidden within the experience, because you wished it so. You set up the rules for this game of life on this planet and we agreed to abide by them. You are the ones in power and we are your servants. One of the main rules is that we may not spell out for you what you have hidden so well from yourself. It is not for us to blurt out to you exactly what is in your contract this lifetime for the reason that you wished to discern that for yourself. YOU wished to have this grand challenge. Now you wish to change the rules. You throw your arms up and look to the heavens where you believe we reside and beseech us to tell you what you're supposed to be doing with your life. Here is our answer: You are supposed to be doing exactly what you are already doing. You - each of you - are already on your path. You are moving at exactly the perfect pace for you and in the exactly perfect direction for you. What you are "supposed to be doing" is discovering for yourself what you wish to do in order to use your particular and unique talents, abilities, wisdom, knowledge, and experiences for the highest and best good of all concerned. Look around you. Take inventory of what you have. Now, ask yourself, "How might I use this for the highest and best benefit of those around me now?" Match up your talents and abilities with other's needs. THAT is what you are supposed to be doing. Love, ps. Maybe it can help you, too. Contributing A contributor becomes a participant to that which they are contributing. Consider these examples:
The act of contributing empowers both the giver and the recipient. It creats a sense of togetherness, of unity. All who are a part of a contribution are empowered and made greater. To promote empowerment through contribution, I'm offering certain of my services on a contribution basis. YOU, then, are empowered to determine the value of your money. For example, a person who has an income of $1000 per month will likely assign a much greater value to $50 than will a multi-billionaire. As another example, a person who works hard physically to earn their money will typically value each of their dollars more than a person whose money comes from a large and generous trust fund. (Maybe this personal valuation of money is a preview of the shift to a new economic system, hmmm?) You contribute whatever value that you deem is appropriate for you for any of these service(s) of your choice. Please note, too, that each of these services is designed to empower you. It's an empower/empower/empower opportunity for you!
