The
Seven Tools of Creation
Remember
the last time you created something? It may have been building a
house or starting a new business. It may have been creating a work
of art, such as a painting, sculpture, or a writing. It may have
been dinner.
 What
ever it was, there was a process you went through that's identical
in all creative endeavors. It's not just a logical progression of
steps; it utilizes tools of creation that we carry around with us
at all times. 24/7.
These
tools are the energy centers, commonly known as Chakras, that reside
in the human body. Although there are many Chakras, there are seven
which are major and are aligned vertically through the center of
the body. They're represented in this image as the various spots
of color.
Here's
how they work as tools of creation:
- Inspiration
is the first tool of creation. Everything that's ever been created
was first an inspired thought. Everything. Inspiration
is received by us through the Crown chakra
where it's then routed to the appropriate part of our brain for
decoding and logical reasoning. At this point a judgment is made
as to whether it's desirable to continue with the process of creating
this inspiration, delay the process until a more suitable time,
or dismiss it altogether. Ask yourself: "How am I being
open to receive new inspirations?"
- Inner
Vision.
If the decision is to continue further with the inspiration then
the brain begins the process of visualizing it with the unique
ability it has of seeing without the eyes. This is associated
with the Third Eye or Ajna chakra.
This allows us to "see" what this inspiration might
look like when actually created, which serves to move us along
in the process of creation. Once the inspiration is envisioned
it becomes more real, more viable. Ask yourself: "How
do I envision this inspiration in its highest and best form?"
- Communication
is the tool that brings the inspiration from the ethereal world
of thought and inner vision out to the world. Through the use
of language, either spoken or written, the inspiration becomes
even more real, more solid. The Throat Chakra
is associated with communication and with creativity. If
you're experiencing throat problems, examine areas of your life
where you may be withholding something you very much want to say.
Ask yourself: "How are my communications to others and
my self about this inspiration moving me toward creating it?"
- LOVE
is an absolutely necessary tool in any creation. Without love,
all aspects of the creation will suffer. If you don't love what
you're creating not only will you be fighting the resistance you
feel, others will sense the lack of love and will be repelled
from your creation. Love, of course, is associated with the Heart
chakra. Ask yourself: "What am I feeling about
this creation/inspiration?"
- Passion
and desire for your creation
is the next tool. This is the energy that drives you, as you work
toward creating the inspiration you were given. It's the dynamic
power that propels you toward making your vision a reality. You
feel passion in your Third Chakra, or Will
Center, located in your Solar Plexus. Ask yourself:
""How can my passion for this inspiration assist me
in creating it?"
- Community
is a vitally important tool for the success of your creation.
No great accomplishment was done alone. All of the world's greats
had support people helping them on their path to achieving their
wondrous creations. Try building a house, writing a book, or building
a business without others to help you along the way. The Second
Chakra, the Sacral Chakra, is the home of your community.
Family, coworkers, friends, teachers, customers, clients... they're
all a part of your community. Ask yourself: "Who are the
people in my community and how might they assist me in the creation
of my inspiration?"
- Action,
or
manifesting, is the last tool in this process. As you step into
action you begin the process of manifesting into reality that
which was once just an idea, an inspiration. The
Root Chakra is the channel through which you birth your
creation. Ask yourself: "How am I bringing my creation
forth into the world?"
Use
these seven tools to help you plan and organize the creation of
your next, or current, inspiration.
