NLP
Eyes and The Law of Attraction
Do
you know that where your eyes are positioned indicates whether you're
thinking about something in the past or the future?
But
wait! There's more!
Do
you know that your eye position also indicates whether you're focusing
on a sound, an image, or a feeling?
Well,
it's true.
One
of the facets the very complicated and complex art and science of
Neuro Linguistic Programming (NLP) relates to eye positioning -
its influence and interpretation. For example, when you're looking
up you're accessing the part of your brain where inner visualization
occurs.
This
image illustrates the VAK model of NLP:

These
eye positions as shown are from the perspective of the viewer looking
at someone else. For example, future visualizing places the eyes
to the top and to the right.
Until now this information has been most typically used by knowledgeable
life coaches, therapists, and educators to assist them in the gathering
of important and helpful information regarding their clients and
students.
For example, teachers can determine by watching a student's eye
movements during class whether that student learns best by reading
a book, hearing a lecture, or actively participating in a lesson.
These three types of learning reflect the three eye positions of
NLP: Visual, Auditory, and Kinesthetic. If the teacher is giving
a lecture and a student consistently accesses the Visual eye position,
it indicates that the student would learn more easily by reading
a book rather than listening to the teacher talking about the lesson.
Recently,
as I was coaching a client on a specific aspect of The Law of Attraction,
it occurred to me that instead of using this VAK eye position information
in a passive manner (solely to take in information) it could be
used in a definitive manner so as to add power to the deliberate
creation processes of The Law of Attraction.
Those
who are familiar with The Law of Attraction work know that the steps
for manifesting are:
1.
Determine what you don't want.
2.
Contrast what you don't want to determine what you DO want.
3. Visualize what you want.
4. Add power to your visualization by feeling the emotion of having
what you want.
By
consciously adding the appropriate NLP eye position to each step
you add go-power to them. This facilitates even faster and easier
manifesting.
Here's
how it works:
1.
Determine what you don't want. Use the Past Visual eye position.
2.
Contrast what you don't want to determine what you DO want. Use
the Future Visual eye position.
3. Visualize what you want every day for five to fifteen minutes.
Use
the Future Visual eye position.
4. Add power to your visualization by feeling the emotion of having
what you want. Use the Future Kinesthetic eye position.

Kathy

"A
true healer doesn't do the healing. A true healer creates the
space for the client to heal themselves." - The group, channeled
through Steve Rother
True
and complete healing only happens when it's done by you.
No one else can heal you. Why? Because all disease is created by
thought. Thoughts that you continue to think over and over become
your beliefs. At the point when they have become embedded into your
subconscious as beliefs, they have the power to create good or ill
health.
Triality
Modality combines three self-empowering vibrational healing
techniques into one holistic process. During each segment of Triality,
I'll guide you through all of the processes so you'll
actually be doing your own healing.
Each
of the techniques within Triality Modality works specifically within
one of three core areas that are necessary for complete healing:
- Physical
- The Interdimensional 12 Strand DNA Re-coding
- Emotional
- The Emotional Freedom Technique (EFT)
- Mental
- PSYCH-K
The
combination of these three techniques creates a powerful and holistic
modality for healing on all levels.

Book
o' the Month
Books
have always been an important part of my life. One of my most favorite
jobs was working at a bookstore. I'd gaze around the store in amazement
at all of the wondrous knowledge that was available to me in all
the thousands of books that were gathered together in this one place.
It was like having all of the wisest people in all the world
in all of history right in front of me, ready to share the
best and juiciest parts of their wisdom with me. Picking up a book
and reading it was like walking up to them and saying, "tell
me the best of all that you know". And so they did... each
time I would open their books and read their words.
Because
I love books soooooo much, I want to share with you those that especially
excite me.
This
month's book selection isn't
just one book. It's a whole bunch of them. In fact, it's the entire
collection of Sark books. They're all so fantabulous I couldn't
pick just one!
I
was introduced to Sark during my job at the bookstore. Who could
resist a book that has a cover like this one?!?
Opening
the book and delving into the content was even more fun than enjoying
the bright, happy cover design. Sark offers such wisdom as:
- Spiritual
travel has many routes. Travel in the interior is a profound experience.
- Notice
and celebrate daily miracles. Miracles multiply with sharing.
- Feelings
between people can act as bridges. All of your feelings are acceptable.
- Fears
lie. Your fears are NOT larger than you are.
- Believe
in everything until you find out otherwise. (And maybe even after
that)
Sark,
AKA Susan Ariel Rainbow Kennedy, is a most remarkable and delightful
woman who overcame some gigantic challenges in her life. I won't
spoil it by telling you about them. I'll let her tell you in her
books. Lucky for us, she has shared her magical self with us in
her books and artwork.
Here
are some of my favorites in my Sark collection:
- Glad
No Matter What
- Eat
Mangoes Naked:
Finding Pleasure Everywhere and Dancing With the Pits

Essential
Oil of the Month
Joy
The
Essential Oils Desk Reference, my main source of info about
Young Living Essential Oils, says this about Joy:
It
produces a magnetic energy to bring joy to the heart, mind, and
soul. It inspires romance and helps overcome deep-seated grief
and depression.
Here's
what I say about it:
This
oil smells sooooo good and makes you feel soooo great you'll want
to put it all over yourself every day!! However, it's very potent
and one drop goes a long ways and lasts a long time, so be a bit
prudent with your use of it. The bottle of oil lasts a long time
- even though you'll want to use it everywhere.
This
oil is really yummy! It only takes a few seconds after I apply a
drop of it to the base of my throat or over my heart before I'm
feeling happier and have a cheerier outlook. (Read on to learn about
how the aroma of the oils affects your emotions.)
Suggestions
of how to use it:
- Apply
a drop over heart, on wrists, Thymus, and at base of throat
- Add
2 - 4 drops to hot bathwater. (Decadent!)
- Directly
inhale
- Diffuse
- Put
a few drops on a cotton ball and place over heating vents
- Add
a few drops to vegetable oil and use for a full body massage (ohhh
yeah!)
- Sprinkle
a couple of drops in front of the heat vents on the carpet of
your car. (It'll make your commute a whole lot better!)
Oils
included in this blend:
- Rose
has the highest frequency of all essential oils. It creates a
magnetic energy that attracts pure love and brings joy to the
heart.
- Bergamot
balances hormones and calms emotions.
- Mandarin
has hypnotic properties.
- Ylang
Ylang increases relaxation.
- Lemon
stimulates and invigorates.
- Geranium
helps release negative memories so that joy can be attained.
- Jasmine
revitalizes spirits and brings feelings of love and joy.
- Palmarosa
is stimulating and revitalizing, bringing about a feeling of security.
- Roman
Chamomile combats
restlessness and tension.
- Rosewood
is high in linalool, which has a relaxing, empowering effect.
To
obtain the fullest aromatic benefits of this oil, after
applying it rub the palms of your hands together briskly to warm
the oil on them. Then cup them and place them over your nose. Take
three deep breaths This brings the minute oil particles deep into
your nasal passages, where their energy imprint is picked up by
the Olfactory nerve and taken to the Amygdala gland - the control
center of all your emotions and the release of all hormones.
Young
Living essential oils are steam distilled from the leaves and stems
of 100% organic plants. Unlike other brands of essential oils, there
are no chemicals used in the processing of the plants. Nor are there
chemicals or other ingredients added to dilute or damage the natural
healing properties of the oils.
