Coaching Article: How to Receive the Greatest Results From Coaching

The step-by-step guidebook to getting unstuck!

Get it HERE!

Coaching is a partnership, a co-creation between you and your coach. There are certain things that you can do to enhance your coaching experience and to create the greatest results from coaching.

Be committed to your coaching. Half hearted attempts create weak, flimsy results. Make a list of what you really want in life and be ready to commit to working toward them.

Be honest. This is for your benefit, not mine as your coach. Honesty clears the road for faster results.

Be willing. If you are unwilling to explore, delve, and create, then your coaching experience will be like driving a car with the brakes on. You'll waste your time and energy, and mine. Be open

Be on time. Life happens, and if for some reason you will be late or won't be able to make an appointment, call at least 24 hours in advance.

Be present. Create a space for your coaching calls where you will not be distracted by people, pets, your computer, or anything else. The more completely you focus during the coaching call, the more effective and deep your learning and your progress will be.

Be prepared. Come to the coaching call with an agenda of things you want to share and discuss. Things like:

  • Successes and wins
  • Problems you've faced and how you're handling them
  • Insights, new awarenesses, and AHAs!
  • Progress or blockages on what you're currently working on

Be healthy. Coaching and the subsequent work and life changes require energy - emotional, intellectual, and physical. Take care of your body.
